Summer STEM Sessions at Providence Children's Museum
Summer STEM Sessions are an add-on program for ticketed Museum visitors. All participants and their accompanying adults must purchase tickets for Museum entry to participate in Summer STEM Sessions. Museum tickets can be purchased HERE.
All summer long, we’ll be offering a series of exciting offerings focused on STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Today’s activity is: Popsicle Stick Catapults
How far can you make a pom pom fly? Using your engineering skills and a little help from your grown-up and PCM staff, create a catapult using popsicle sticks, rubber bands, and some inginuity. Due to the small parts associated with this activity, this program is limited to visitors age 6 and older.
Pre-Registration for Summer STEM Sessions is highly encouraged to guarantee availability, as supplies are limited.
Summer STEM Sessions are NOT a drop-off program, and adult supervision is required. We happily encourage adults to participate in the activities with their children, however, please only register a spot for child participants. Each participant must reserve their own spot.
If you have any questions about activities or registration, please contact Hannah Lally at lally@providencechildrensmuseum.org.
