An on-demand virtual performance of MLK: Amazing Grace, with viewing access beginning Monday, January 18th until Saturday, January 23rd

 

A powerful and dramatic play written and directed by Rochelle Garner Coleman to share the story of Martin Luther King specifically for children. Storytellers using minor props and costume changes, become some of the famous and not so famous participants in the civil rights movement. Daddy King, Rosa Parks, Andy Young, and Sheyanne Webb, among others, come to life as they tell of their associations with Martin Luther King Jr. Each story is taken from real life accounts with added research to give background to this explosive time in United States History. Performed by, Jackie Davis, Raffini, Raidje, Rochelle Garner Coleman and Valerie Tutson.
